Book reading of the new South Tyrol thriller „Der König von Tiers“ by Simone Dark

Crime novelist Simone Dark reads for the first time from her new South Tyrolean crime novel „Der König von Tiers“. In the cosy ambience of the Parkhotel Mondschein we dive into the second case of the iconic Bolzano investigator duo Filippo Magnabosco and Carmela Pasqualina.
Simona, winemaker's daughter from the Überetsch, has disappeared! And she was soon to marry her fiancé Hartwig. Inspector Magnabosco and his assistant Pasqualina follow her trail to the mountain village of Tiers at the foot of the legendary Rosengarten. Simona was last seen there with her sister Martha, a self-proclaimed witch, in the restaurant of the hotel king Angerer.
The further the investigation progresses, the more mysterious the case becomes. At the same time, the famous dwarf king Laurin seems to be on the move again in the Dolomites ...

Simone Dark, born in 1982, grew up in Breisach am Rhein. After studying near Mainz, she moved to South Tyrol, where she still lives today. She is the author of the thriller "Kaltes Weiß" (2019). In 2022, she published "Die Taten der Opfer", the first crime novel about Filippo Magnabosco, as well as the two Bolzano crime novels "Verspieltes Glück" and "Vergeltung” with Edition Raetia.
