ELLA is a series of events organised by the Municipality of Bolzano and dedicated to the female art world. Starting from an idea under the artistic direction of Greta Marcolongo, the Ella project sets out to explore the world of art: from theatre to music, from dance to publishing and photography, with a single common denominator: women are the protagonists. Ella aims to convey messages of sisterhood, resistance, independence and cultural engagement.

Ella aims to convey messages of sisterhood, resistance, independence and cultural engagement.
For some time now, curator and writer Elisa Barison finds herself engaged in the creation of floral pieces. She cultivates many types of flowers herself in her garden in Brixen, while finding and collecting others by the roadside, on abandoned properties or while strolling in the woods. During a talk at Parkhotel Mondschein, the self-proclaimed flower fanatic and Anna Quinz, creative director and passionate collector, will discuss why Barison's approach to flowers represents a deeply political act and what we humans can learn from these extraordinary beings.
Following the talk, guests are invited to visit one of the hotel's rooms, transformed into an intimate Wunderkammer of plants by Elisa Barison and her flowers.
