The guest of the nineteenth Moontalk is Andrea Sebastiano Sarli, entrepreneur, garden designer and founder of Clinica Botanica. At just eighteen, he began working as a gardener in London, an experience that marked the beginning of an uninterrupted professional path dedicated to working with plants.
Alongside this, he developed entrepreneurial projects connected to food and production chains. Ethical supply chains, direct relationships with producers, and the development of tailor-made projects for companies and institutions form the common thread running through all his experiences. Today, his vision and approach find expression in Clinica Botanica, the Milan-based studio he founded, offering services in the world of plants and flowers: garden design, installations, as well as temporary and permanent projects.
At the core of his work lies the idea of treating plants and flowers as living, design-driven matter rather than simple decoration. A central aspect of the practice involves recovering and reusing plants from events, sets and temporary installations. The studio collaborates with suppliers chosen for their ethics, proximity and quality, developing bespoke solutions for brands, companies and institutions through set design, plant rental, floral compositions, bouquets, installations and workshops.
In dialogue with Elisa Barison, curator and flower grower, Andrea Sebastiano Sarli will share his experience and his approach to the world of plants and flowers, carried forward through Clinica Botanica. The talk will be held in Italian.
