The guest of the twelfth Moontalk is Victoria Dejaco, an art historian, curator, gallery owner, and entrepreneur. Originally from Brixen, Victoria studied art history at the University of Vienna and has since made a name for herself in the Vienna and Graz art scenes, as well as beyond, through her ongoing dedication to making the art world more democratic, accessible, and transparent.
Throughout her career in cultural production, she has worked in diverse roles, contributed to magazines, organized art fairs, and curated exhibitions both nationally and internationally. In Vienna, she co-directs the contemporary art gallery Wonnerth Dejaco with a partner. Dejaco is also the founder of the successful start-up simplify.art, a software-supported solution for art management and trade. Through this pioneering venture, she has continually advocated for an inclusive and simplified approach to the art world, particularly within the collector and artist communities.
On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 7 pm, Victoria Dejaco will be in conversation with curator and art consultant Eva von Ingram Harpf in the Luna Bar at Parkhotel Mondschein in Bolzano. Together, they will discuss the importance of resilience in her career and within artistic production.
The conversation will be held in German.
Art, culture, design, creativity—these are the themes of the bi-monthly Moontalks at Parkhotel Mondschein, curated by franzLAB. Guests include internationally renowned figures from near and far.
