On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the creative hub Lottozero, co-founder Arianna Moroder will moderate this Moontalk with artist Barbara Prenka at the Luna Bar.
Barbara transforms blankets into textile surfaces, soft and colorful sculptures - structures that balance between heaviness and lightness. In doing so, she playfully challenges gravity and the rigidity of the object. The blanket, conceived as a canvas into which she intervenes through gesture, embroidery, and language, becomes in her work an archetypal element, creating a space for reinterpretation between everyday life and abstraction.
During her residency at Lottozero, Barbara deepened her research and developed works that explore the sculptural potential of soft materials. Through seams, padding, embroidery, and painterly interventions, her works emerge as evolving surfaces in which personal memory and material intertwine, giving rise to forms between installation and sculpture.
In the talk, held in Italian, Barbara Prenka will share insights into her artistic trajectory as well as the works created during her residency at Lottozero.

After studying in Trento, she continues her education at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and develops an artistic practice that interweaves personal memory, materiality, and gesture.
