Discover the vibrant and promising world of Max Widmann – a rising winemaker from Bolzano who brings a clear vision and refined sensitivity to South Tyrolean wine culture.
Right in the heart of Bolzano, on his family’s estate in Kampill, Max crafts his wines with care – natural, thoughtful, and always in pursuit of balance. His philosophy: let the wines unfold freely, without constraint. Each bottle reflects precision, personality, and character.
His vineyards, rooted in old family plots, are cultivated using the traditional Pergl method. The interplay of partial shade, elevation, and Bolzano’s warm sun gives the grapes remarkable freshness and depth.
His wines tell stories:
Voyage – a Chardonnay symbolizing curiosity and new beginnings.
Soleil – a Lagrein Rosé radiating elegance and sunlit ease.
Reflexion – a contemplative Vernatsch with layered depth.
Gravità – a powerful Lagrein grounded in earthy presence.
