Ritten/Renon

One of the three cable cars in Bozen/Bolzano leads up to the Ritten/Renon plateau – Bozen/Bolzano’s treasured summer resort mountain. The 950-metre ascent from the valley station to the mountain station in Oberbozen/Sopra Bolzano takes precisely twelve minutes. Once at the top, the view of the Dolomite peaks, which seem quite close, is magnificent, and the hike to the Earth Pyramids or the Rittner Horn/Corno del Renon at 2,260 metres above sea level is undeniably unforgettable.
