Lucas Zanotto, internationally renowned designer and artist, will be the guest of the 22nd Moontalk at the Luna Bar, in collaboration with Kids Culture Club. The artist, who grew up in Brixen and has been living in Helsinki with his family for many years, is known for his playful, abstract, and visionary visual universe.
In his work, Zanotto combines experience in product design with an ironic and experimental artistic approach. The result is animations, installations, and sculptures that captivate people of all ages. His visual language - minimalist yet sophisticated - evokes wonder and lightness through movement, rhythm, and irony.
As a child of the Dolomites, Zanotto draws much of his inspiration from nature and experiments with tireless curiosity. Through minimalist aesthetics and a strong narrative component, he transforms complex ideas into accessible and universal works and projects.
In conversation in German with Katharina Volgger - South Tyrolean architect, lecturer, cultural practitioner, and co-chair of the South Tyrol Architecture Foundation - Lucas Zanotto offers insights into his multifaceted, colourful, and irony-filled world.
