About Shahed Naji
Sha is a Lebanese yoga teacher and multidisciplinary artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. His interest in meditation and eastern philosophies developed during his younger years, which was an additional motivation for him to start practicing yoga. He continues to explore this interest by attending meditation practices and workshops at temples and retreats. For Shahed, yoga is an ethical exercise, where the physical part of it is an execution of the meditative aspect. His style of teaching is asana-based, and his classes focus on conveying a deeper understanding of the alignment behind the asanas. Shahed’s classes incorporate deeper backbends, hip opening, twists and forward folds, while always offering modifications and hands-on assists. Meditation and breathwork also form an integral part of his teaching. Through his classes, Shahed generates a full body workout that creates longer, leaner muscles and enhanced physical mobility.
