About Baldon

Baldon has been founded in 2018 by Cäcilia Baldszus and Jessica-Joyce Sidon with the aim to create a platform for creative experiences. What has started as a restaurant at a unique concrete building in Berlin Wedding has evolved into a culinary service on the run. For the past two years Jessi and Cäcilia have been traveling, exploring and creating culinary gatherings all over the place. With an appetite for sharp creativity, humanistic sensorial experiences, multi-faceted inspirations and above all, locally sourced seasonal produce every event is created to be fun and made to be remembered.

Cäcilia Baldszus kitchen is very spontaneous and wild. During her many travels she spent a lot of time with families and locals in Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean. She has a talent to combine ingredients that she finds on local markets to then use cooking techniques that she adapted throughout her travels and create dishes that have that unique taste that can’t be put into a box.
