As part of the Bolzano Art Weeks, Parkhotel Mondschein welcomes artist Francesco Feltri with his performance "The Monument of Unmaking: A Practice of Relearning" in the hotel park.
In this work, the human body relinquishes its monumental stance and returns to the earth. As Francesco Feltri digs a nest into the soil, he invites the audience to collaboratively create a text-based artwork. The performance challenges anthropocentric perspectives and opens a dialogue about our relationship with the body, matter and the environment.
Inspired by the posthumanist theories of Donna Haraway and Rosi Braidotti, the work encourages new ways of imagining coexistence and invites us to understand ecological vulnerability as a shared experience.
Following the performance, DJ Montelemon will provide the musical finale of the evening.
